Maven Bookkeeping Service LLC ("Maven," "we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect when you visit this site, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
Who we are
Maven Bookkeeping Service LLC is an accounting and bookkeeping practice registered in Florida. We are the controller of the personal information described here. You can reach us at admin@mavenbookkeepingsvc.com.
What we collect
Information you give us. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address. If you book a strategy call, the scheduling provider collects your name, email address, and any details you enter when booking. If you email us, we keep that correspondence.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our host records standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you view. With your consent, we also use analytics cookies to understand which content is useful.
Client information. Information you provide once you become a client — financial records, tax documents, and similar material — is governed by your engagement letter with us, not by this website policy.
Why we use it
We use this information to send you the newsletter you asked for, to schedule and prepare for strategy calls, to answer your questions, to keep the site secure and working, and to understand which content is worth producing more of. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Cookies
When you first visit, we ask which cookies you allow. Your choice is stored in your browser and you can change it at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.
Strictly necessary. Required for the page to load and for the newsletter form to work. These are always on.
Analytics. Anonymous measurement of which pages are read. Off unless you allow them.
Marketing and embedded content. Allows LinkedIn posts and Google reviews to load in place, and allows us to measure advertising. Off unless you allow them. If declined, embedded content is not loaded at all.
Services we rely on
We use a small number of third-party providers to run this site. Each has its own privacy policy, and each receives only what it needs:
- Google (Forms, Sheets). Stores newsletter signups.
- Dubb. Handles strategy call scheduling.
- Trustindex. Displays our Google reviews.
- LinkedIn and YouTube. Serve embedded posts and videos when you allow marketing cookies.
How long we keep it
Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Enquiries and call bookings are kept for 24 months unless you become a client, in which case records are retained as required by professional and tax rules.
Your rights
You may ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or withdraw your consent to marketing at any time. If you are in California, you also have the right to know what we collect and to opt out of sale or sharing — we do neither. If you are in the UK or EU, our lawful bases are your consent (newsletter, non-essential cookies) and our legitimate interest in operating and securing the site.

Security and children
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, though no website can promise perfect security. This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
